Competitor pages from one CMS template
A single CMS template for Dropbox Sign's "vs" comparison pages, so marketing can publish a new competitor page by filling in fields instead of building one.

- 11page sections, each driven by the CMS
- 5linked collections behind every page
The brief
Dropbox Sign runs comparison pages against other e-signature tools. The marketing team wanted to publish new ones on their own and keep every page consistent.
What I did
- Turned the reference comparison page into one CMS template with 11 sections: hero, value cards, comparison table, pricing, accordion, ratings, testimonial carousel, two-column blocks, customer stories, FAQ and a closing call to action.
- Split the reusable content into its own collections (features, accordions, testimonials and FAQs) and linked them to each page with multi-references, so a testimonial is written once and used anywhere.
- Made every section hide itself when its fields are empty, so a page only shows what the editor filled in.
- Put SEO fields, page colours and form options on each page, so a new competitor page never needs a developer.
- Built a new hero with two calls to action and rolled it out to every product comparison page.
- Wrote an authoring guide for the team, walking through every field.
How it went
A new comparison page is now a new CMS item. The marketing team picks the content, the template keeps the layout and SEO consistent.
